There is so much content available on the web that it is nearly impossible to keep track of everything that piques your interest. Luckily, we have social bookmarking sites such as Digg and delicious that allow us to track articles that interest us as well as discover other articles that we may find interesting.
Social bookmarking sites are not only a way to share content, but is also a way to establish relationships and build your brand. By digging or adding your favorite articles and videos to delicious, you establish your interests and expertise. You can add friends who share similar interests, and begin to establish relationships. Like any other social network, these sites can drive traffic to your blog.
If you’re new to social bookmarking , check out this video Social Bookmarking in Plain English, brought to you from the people at Commoncraft.
Also, if you’re interested in real estate, technology, and social media feel free to add me as a friend on digg or delicious.

Lastly, many articles have a widget that quickly allows you to digg an article or add it to delicious, but I find it easier to install the firefox plug-ins. I recommend installing the shareholic firefox plug-in, it’s an extension that goes on your toolbar. It provides quick links for sharing to all of the major social networks.

Hey, given the nature of your post, I thought you might be interested in our widget that lets you display your twitter follower count (and other online karma, e.g. LinkedIn connections count) on your blog: http://duckduckgo.com/karma.html
