Here it is, the new NYU Schack logo.
The new logo is part of the school’s ongoing effort to re-brand itself and step away from the shadow of the school of continuing and professional studies. Looking at the logo for the first time I was immediately surprised to not see the ubiquitous violet which I’ve come so accustomed to as an NYU student. Rather, the simple logo features green, which highlights NYU Schack’s commitment to “green” building and the environment.
I personally like the logo and think it’s another move in the right direction for a school that has the potential to be the foremost real estate institute in the country. The school is also working on overhauling its website to be more dynamic and user-friendly. It’s set to launch within the next few months. This continuous re-branding is part of a larger effort by new Dean Jim Stuckey and the rest of the administration. It’s an exciting time to be a student at NYU Schack.
What do you think of the new logo?
