From its inception, this blog has been dedicated to helping individuals who were looking to get into the real estate game by providing useful resources, reviewing higher-education real estate programs, and creating a forum to network with like-minded individuals. The blog has been a success to this point, so I’ve decided to expand upon my original goal to include an ‘Careers‘ page that will contain explanations of the possible career paths one can take in real estate and corresponding descriptions of the day-to-day operations of each position as explained by a professional within that field. These will be added over time.
Also included will be a sub-page called ‘Advice.’ Thanks to the new Thesis 1.6 update I can create sub-pages under any parent page. For example, when you mouse over the ‘Networking’ tab, the sub-page ‘Social Networking’ will drop down. This cool new feature will allow for greater organization within the site. Anyway, the ‘Advice’ page will include advice-related posts written by established professionals within the field. Anything from ‘Is Real Estate the Right Career for You?‘ to job search strategies.
